Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance benchmarking.
- Develop, monitor, and manage departmental budgets, providing detailed reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts, projections, and models to support strategic decision-making.
- Generate and present clear, concise financial reports to various levels of management and external entities.
- Ensure strict compliance with university financial policies, state regulations, federal guidelines, and grant requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with department heads, project managers, and faculty to understand their financial needs and provide tailored support.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within financial operations.
- Assist in the preparation for audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or reporting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
