Job Description
Parker Ranch is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Finance Administrator to join our corporate team in Waimea, Hawaii. This crucial full-time position will play an integral role in supporting the financial operations of our diverse enterprises, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all administrative functions. The Finance Administrator will be responsible for a broad spectrum of tasks, from managing accounts payable and receivable to assisting with financial reporting, budget preparation, and general ledger reconciliation. Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analyses for various departments and management.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both physical and digital, in accordance with company policies and auditing standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Manage vendor relationships, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure adherence to payment terms.
- Administer employee expense reports and corporate credit card reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform other administrative and financial duties as assigned to support the corporate office.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance administration or accounting support role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
