Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and record management.
  • Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment checks.
  • Prepare new starter documentation and support the onboarding process to ensure a welcoming experience for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries, directing complex issues to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR-related correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, training coordination, and policy updates.
  • Process HR-related paperwork efficiently, including changes to terms and conditions, leave requests, and leaver documentation.
  • Assist with payroll data input and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and compliant workplace culture by adhering to company policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within an HR department.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Level qualification or equivalent.
  • CIPP/CIPD Foundation Certificate or working towards an HR qualification.
  • Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) or payroll software.
  • Understanding of basic employment law and HR best practices.
