Job Description

BRALIMA S.A. is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Assistant to join our team at a key Supply Point in Bandundu, Kwilu Province. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized individual to play a crucial role in our distribution network, ensuring the smooth flow of products from our depots to our valued customers and partners. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be instrumental in the daily operations of our supply point, from receiving incoming goods to preparing outgoing shipments. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure inventory accuracy, prevent losses, and maintain the high standards of product integrity that BRALIMA is known for. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against shipping documents and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper stacking, rotation (FIFO), and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately according to picking lists and prepare them for dispatch.
  • Assist with loading trucks and other delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) safely and efficiently, if applicable and certified.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality control issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the general upkeep and maintenance of the supply point premises.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items (up to 25kg) repeatedly.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading documents and counting inventory.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Certificat d'État).
  • Previous experience (at least 1 year) in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or basic data entry.
  • Valid driving license (e.g., Category B or C) for potential future opportunities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
