Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally detail-oriented and experienced Copy Editor to join our dynamic production team, specializing in Publication Review. Key Responsibilities

  • Proofread and edit a wide variety of print materials, including brochures, magazines, reports, newsletters, and marketing collateral, for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors.
  • Ensure strict adherence to client-specific style guides, brand guidelines, and established editorial standards.
  • Verify factual accuracy of content where applicable, cross-referencing information against provided sources.
  • Improve readability, clarity, and conciseness of text without altering the core message or client voice.
  • Collaborate effectively with designers and project managers to integrate edits and ensure layout consistency.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback on content to internal teams and occasionally directly to clients.
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet tight production deadlines.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of language trends, style guides, and printing industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Proven experience in copy editing and proofreading for print publications.
  • Proficiency in applying various style guides (e.g., Chicago, AP, client-specific).
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
