Job Description
Midtown Reader is seeking a meticulous and reliable Data Entry Assistant for a temporary position to support our administrative and operational needs. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and organization of our internal records, which directly impacts our ability to serve our community and manage our inventory efficiently. As a Data Entry Assistant, you will be responsible for inputting a high volume of information into our systems, verifying existing data, and assisting with various administrative tasks. You will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our databases, including customer information, inventory updates, event registrations, and sales data. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update data into various digital databases and spreadsheets.
- Verify existing data for completeness and correctness, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of information.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and summaries based on entered data.
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, and organizing documents.

Required Skills
