Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing Retail Division in Downtown, Gainesville. As a Sales Executive, you will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and securing new retail partnerships across Gainesville and the surrounding region. You will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing retail accounts, acting as a brand ambassador for The Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops. This role demands a proactive individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of understanding diverse client needs and effectively positioning our product lines to meet their business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the retail sector, including grocery stores, specialty food markets, cafes, and other relevant outlets.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key retail partners through regular communication and exceptional account management.
- Achieve and consistently exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the retail division.
- Conduct compelling product presentations and tastings for prospective clients, effectively communicating the unique value proposition of The Hyppo products.
- Negotiate favorable sales contracts and terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for The Hyppo and our retail partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate closely with our marketing and operations teams to develop effective promotional campaigns and ensure optimal product placement and distribution.
- Provide exceptional post-sales support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, pipeline status, and sales forecasts using CRM software.
- Represent The Hyppo at relevant industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings to promote our brand and network with potential partners.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the food & beverage, retail, or consumer goods industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, customer service practices, and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits and regional travel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
