Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and security using various monitoring tools.
- Respond to and resolve incidents, alerts, and service requests related to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and associated infrastructure components.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patching, backups, and system health checks.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud resources and services.
- Troubleshoot network, server, and application issues within cloud environments.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement infrastructure changes and improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide out-of-hours support when required.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or infrastructure role.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting or similar automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Cloud+).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience working in a managed service provider (MSP) environment.
