Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses to support management decisions.
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and vendor agreements.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes through data compilation, analysis, and variance reporting.
- Manage employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely processing for reimbursement.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation, ensuring audit readiness.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and accruals.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to gather necessary financial data and provide insightful financial support.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and assist in external audit preparations as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency within the finance department and implement solutions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling and data manipulation).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous approach to data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, maintaining productivity and collaboration both on-site and remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related business field.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Prior experience within the healthcare technology or software industry.
- CPA candidate or actively pursuing other relevant professional certifications (e.g., CMA).
- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) concepts and tools.
