Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses to support management decisions.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and vendor agreements.
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes through data compilation, analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Manage employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely processing for reimbursement.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation, ensuring audit readiness.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to gather necessary financial data and provide insightful financial support.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and assist in external audit preparations as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency within the finance department and implement solutions.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling and data manipulation).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous approach to data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, maintaining productivity and collaboration both on-site and remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related business field.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Prior experience within the healthcare technology or software industry.
  • CPA candidate or actively pursuing other relevant professional certifications (e.g., CMA).
  • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) concepts and tools.
