Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues in various motorcycle makes and models.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Execute engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and clutch replacements.
- Inspect, repair, and replace braking systems, suspension components, and steering assemblies.
- Conduct electrical system diagnostics and repairs, including wiring, ignition systems, and charging circuits.
- Perform performance tuning, carburettor adjustments, and fuel injection system maintenance.
- Order and manage parts inventory, ensuring availability for scheduled repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs, repair estimates, and job progress.
- Document all services performed, parts used, and time spent accurately.
- Stay current with industry advancements, new technologies, and repair techniques through ongoing training and self-study.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in motorcycle diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Expertise in engine repair and rebuilding (2-stroke and 4-stroke).
- Strong knowledge of motorcycle electrical systems and schematics.
- Experience with braking systems, suspension, and chassis repair.
- Ability to perform precision tuning and carburettor/fuel injection adjustments.
