Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/US GAAP).
- Support the general ledger function, including journal entries, reconciliations of accounts, and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
- Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Help maintain and improve internal control procedures, identifying areas for enhancement and ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and clarify accounting entries.
- Participate in the audit preparation process, providing necessary documentation and support to external auditors.
- Assist in the analysis of financial data, preparing reports to support management's decision-making.
- Learn and apply company-specific accounting policies and procedures, staying updated on industry best practices.
- Engage in continuous professional development and actively seek feedback to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Hebrew.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
