Key Responsibilities
- Learn and perform daily cleaning and tidying of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards.
- Stock and organize linen closets and supply trolleys with necessary amenities and cleaning supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, folding, and distributing linens.
- Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team and other hotel departments.
- Handle guest privacy and confidentiality with utmost discretion.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 25 lbs), and push/pull carts throughout a shift.
- Basic communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact with guests and colleagues.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or guest-facing role.
- Familiarity with basic cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
- Understanding of the hospitality industry and commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on hotel needs.
