Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists and inspecting for damage.
- Accurately sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipment according to specifications.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and participate in cycle counting processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or equipment to management promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (even if informal).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
