We are looking for individuals who possess a strong foundation in software engineering principles, a knack for problem-solving, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, developing new features from conception to deployment, optimizing existing systems for improved performance and scalability, and rigorously ensuring the reliability and security of our platform. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define, scope, and deliver new features.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code using best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and tools.
- Ensure the security and compliance of our payment platform.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Ruby, Node.js).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with testing frameworks and writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in a FinTech company or with payment processing systems.
