A key part of your role will involve optimizing our local search presence (SEO and SEM) to ensure Taco Mac is easily discoverable by customers searching for dining experiences in Johns Creek and the surrounding areas, driving both online visibility and walk-in traffic.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing engaging content strategies, including blog posts, website updates, and multimedia assets, that highlight our menu, promotions, and unique brand culture. Executing targeted email marketing initiatives to nurture customer relationships, announce new menu items, and promote special offers will also fall under your purview. Beyond execution, a critical aspect of this role is analysis. You’ll continuously monitor campaign performance, utilize advanced analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), generate comprehensive reports, and provide actionable insights to inform future strategies. This iterative approach will ensure we are always optimizing our digital spend and maximizing return on investment (ROI).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies and content across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Perform search engine optimization (SEO) tasks, including keyword research, content optimization, and local SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
  • Manage and optimize paid search campaigns (SEM) on platforms like Google Ads to drive targeted traffic.
  • Create engaging and relevant content for the company website, blog, email campaigns, and social media channels.
  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., corporate marketing, operations) to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, best practices, and technologies.
  • Manage online reputation and review platforms to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Support local store marketing initiatives with digital components.

Required Skills

  • Proven working experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role (2+ years)
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., Google Ad Manager)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in content creation and management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications
