Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack grocery items, produce, or other merchandise according to order specifications.
- Verify product quantities and ensure items are undamaged before packing.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Stage packed orders in designated areas for loading and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to company quality standards and productivity goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic reading and math skills to understand order forms and labels.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or similar physically demanding environment (not required, but a plus).
- Experience with material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift) is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (a plus).
