Job Description
We are seeking a highly energetic and skilled Hotel DJ/Party Starter to elevate the entertainment experience at Southern Sun Ikoyi Hotel, Lagos. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of music genres, the ability to read a crowd, and a knack for creating an unforgettable party atmosphere. This role requires someone who is comfortable interacting with guests, adept at mixing music, and capable of managing sound equipment. In addition to exceptional DJ skills, the successful candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining playlists suitable for different events, interacting with event organizers to ensure a smooth and successful event experience, and adhering to all hotel policies and procedures. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided on-site. Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain playlists for various hotel events and occasions.
- Mix music seamlessly to maintain a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage and operate sound equipment effectively and responsibly.
- Collaborate with event organizers to ensure event success.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures regarding music, noise levels, and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
