Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and other financial documents with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
  • Manage general ledger entries, journal entries, and month-end close processes according to established timelines.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
  • Monitor financial transactions and data for accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data, preparing reports, and assisting with analysis.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information exchange and support cross-functional projects.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials).
