Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload household goods and office items onto and off of moving trucks.
- Carefully pack, wrap, and unwrap furniture, fragile items, and boxes to prevent damage during transit.
- Assist with disassembling and reassembling furniture as required.
- Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and furniture pads with skill and care.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members throughout the moving process.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and readiness.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment both on the truck and at job sites.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and concerns with a positive attitude.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to ensure successful completion of moves.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly and for extended periods.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance to perform demanding tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are paramount.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in moving, labour, warehouse, or a related physically demanding role.
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record (even if not driving, it demonstrates responsibility).
- Familiarity with the Sudbury area and surrounding regions.
