Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of designated construction areas, including site offices, storage facilities, welfare units (toilets, changing rooms, break areas), and temporary structures.
- Clear construction debris, dust, waste materials, and non-hazardous substances from work zones, ensuring strict compliance with all site safety regulations.
- Sweep, mop, and disinfect hard surfaces, floors, and common pathways.
- Empty waste bins, segregate waste as required, and dispose of rubbish in designated disposal areas responsibly.
- Clean and sanitize portable toilets, handwashing stations, and other sanitary facilities regularly throughout the day.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining tools and equipment areas, ensuring they are clean and orderly after use.
- Report any observed safety hazards, damages to site property, or cleaning supply needs immediately to the site supervisor.
- Support the project team in maintaining a high standard of site presentation for client visits, regulatory inspections, and internal audits.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding manual tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
