Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited (CPJ) is seeking a dynamic Field & Promotion Sales Representative to join our energetic team in Montego Bay. In this pivotal role, you will be the face of CPJ, actively engaging with existing and potential clients, particularly within the bustling hospitality sector surrounding Doctor’s Cave Beach and the wider Montego Bay area. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory, focusing on hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other hospitality establishments in and around Doctor’s Cave Beach, Montego Bay.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with current and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular client visits to present CPJ’s diverse product range, introduce new items, and demonstrate product features and benefits effectively.
  • Develop and execute promotional activities, product samplings, and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive sales of key products.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis, providing insights into market trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and logistics teams to ensure seamless product delivery and client support.
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Manage client accounts, including order processing, inventory management recommendations, and payment follow-up.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven field sales experience, preferably within the food & beverage or hospitality distribution sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong persuasive abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid Jamaican Driver's License and a reliable vehicle for daily field travel.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM software.
  • Deep understanding of the Montego Bay market, particularly the hospitality industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a diverse product portfolio, including spirits, wines, gourmet foods, and non-food essentials.
  • Previous experience in a role requiring direct interaction with hotel, restaurant, or bar managers.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, an asset for engaging with international clientele.
