Job Description
As a Sales Clerk at Slot Systems Limited, you will be the face of our brand, guiding customers through our extensive product range, demonstrating features, and helping them make informed purchasing decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs and preferences for electronic products.
- Provide comprehensive product information and demonstrate features of various electronic devices (smartphones, laptops, accessories, home appliances, etc.) to customers.
- Actively engage with customers to identify sales opportunities and achieve individual and team sales targets, including contributing to the target bonus scheme.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash, debit/credit card payments, and mobile transfers.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor and display areas, ensuring products are well-stocked and priced correctly.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving new merchandise, stocking shelves, monitoring stock levels, and participating in periodic stock counts.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on new products, promotions, store policies, and industry trends to provide accurate and current information to customers.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and store management to ensure smooth store operations and a cohesive customer experience.
- Promote additional services such as warranties, financing options, and product protection plans.
Required Skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build rapport with diverse customers.
- Demonstrated aptitude for sales and a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a retail sales role, preferably within an electronics store or similar high-value goods environment.
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in any relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science).
- Familiarity with common Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Multilingual ability (e.g., proficiency in English and a local Nigerian language such as Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa).
- Certification in customer service or sales training.
