As a Site Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our construction sites operate smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support our skilled tradespeople and site management, contributing directly to the successful completion of projects. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks on site.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas.
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, clearing obstacles, and setting up work zones.
- Perform general manual labor tasks, including digging trenches, mixing concrete, and operating compaction equipment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Support site management with general duties as required to ensure project timelines are met.
- Assist in the demolition of structures and removal of waste materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or project manager.
Required Skills
- Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding tasks over extended periods.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and a commitment to safe work habits.
