Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Assist in the setup and deployment of new workstations and IT equipment.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups.
  • Document support activities, resolutions, and system configurations accurately.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Educate users on best practices for IT security and system usage.
  • Participate in on-site support visits for clients in the Miramar area as needed (hybrid component).
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Customer-service oriented with a patient and professional demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site client visits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant IT certifications.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools.
  • Knowledge of virtual environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Prior experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
