Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily data entry, validation, and verification tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness across various databases.
  • Maintain and update critical data systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Monitor database performance, troubleshoot data-related issues, and implement solutions to optimize data flow and accessibility.
  • Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports, providing insights and support for operational, clinical, and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement data management best practices and support system upgrades or migrations.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of data procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Ensure data security and confidentiality by strictly adhering to access controls and privacy protocols.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on data entry and reporting tools as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in data collection, storage, and retrieval.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot data issues and implement effective solutions
