Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic E-commerce Sales Manager to lead and optimize our online retail performance for Bealls, Inc. in the vibrant Kenwood, St. Petersburg area. This pivotal role is responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing customer experience, and expanding our digital footprint across all e-commerce platforms. The E-commerce Sales Manager will be a strategic leader, tasked with developing and executing comprehensive online sales strategies that align with our brand values and business objectives. You will be instrumental in analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities for growth and conversion. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the digital retail ecosystem, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing all facets of an e-commerce operation, from product listing and inventory management to promotional campaigns and post-purchase customer engagement. You will collaborate closely with marketing, merchandising, IT, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless and engaging online shopping journey for our customers. This includes managing external vendor relationships for e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and logistics partners. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Manage the end-to-end online customer journey, from site navigation and product presentation to checkout and post-purchase follow-up.
- Analyze sales data, website traffic, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and optimize performance.
- Oversee content strategy for product descriptions, images, and other digital assets to ensure accuracy, appeal, and SEO optimization.
- Plan, implement, and monitor digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email) to drive traffic and sales.
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure optimal product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities are aligned with online strategy.
- Manage relationships with third-party e-commerce vendors, platform providers, and logistics partners.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and competitive trends in e-commerce.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team or cross-functional groups involved in e-commerce operations.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce sales or online retail management.
- Proven track record of driving significant online revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Expertise in digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing).
