Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and efficiency in a dynamic warehouse environment? Knight’s Armament Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Coordinator – Stock Room to join our robust operations team in Titusville, Florida. In this critical, hands-on role, you will be the linchpin in ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of materials within our primary stock room, directly impacting our manufacturing and assembly processes for world-class small arms systems. You will be responsible for a wide array of essential tasks, from meticulous receiving and inspection of incoming goods to precise inventory management, efficient order picking, and ensuring the timely delivery of components to our various production lines. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and meticulously inspect incoming materials and components against purchase orders and specifications, accurately documenting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Efficiently and accurately store materials in designated stock room locations, optimizing space utilization and ensuring easy accessibility.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies and maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy within the ERP/MRP system.
  • Utilize inventory management software (e.g., ERP/MRP systems) for precise tracking, issuing, and receiving of all materials.
  • Accurately pick and stage materials according to production orders, ensuring timely and complete delivery of components to manufacturing lines.
  • Prepare materials for internal transfers, external shipments, or deliveries, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the stock room and entire warehouse area, adhering to 5S principles.
  • Identify and promptly report damaged, defective, or non-conforming materials to appropriate quality control and management personnel.
  • Collaborate effectively with production, purchasing, and quality control departments to resolve material-related issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing warehouse operations, efficiency, and safety.
  • Assist in training new warehouse personnel on proper procedures and safety protocols.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in a warehouse, stock room, or inventory control role within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proven proficiency with inventory management systems (ERP/MRP software) for material tracking and transaction processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately count, track, and manage large volumes of diverse inventory items.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current OSHA-compliant forklift certification.
  • Experience within the aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
  • Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with specific ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
