Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-call resolution for member inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding accounts, loans, and credit union services.
  • Assist members with online banking, mobile app navigation, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Educate members on various financial products and services, identifying opportunities to enhance their financial wellness.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to all regulatory and credit union policies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of member interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve complex member issues and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and security protocols to protect member information.
  • Continuously learn about new products, services, and system updates to provide up-to-date information.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative remote team environment, actively participating in virtual meetings and team discussions.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or financial services environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong active listening skills and empathy to understand member needs.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, CRM software, and the ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously.
  • High-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home workspace free from distractions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new information quickly.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with financial services products (e.g., banking, loans, credit cards) or similar regulated industries.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills are a significant plus.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Previous experience in a virtual or work-from-home customer service role.
