Job Description
Coastal Cloud is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Consultant to join our People Operations team in a hybrid capacity, balancing essential in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. This critical role will play a pivotal part in shaping our HR strategies and ensuring an exceptional employee experience as our company continues its rapid growth. You will act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing expertise across a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, policy development, performance management, talent development, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance and conflict resolution support.
- Develop, implement, and interpret HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Support managers in performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and corrective action.
- Contribute to the strategic development and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct HR investigations, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Assist in the development and delivery of HR-related training programs for employees and leadership.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, recommend solutions, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with talent acquisition and management on onboarding, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
- Champion culture and engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.
- Stay abreast of employment law changes and best practices, ensuring company compliance.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment.
- Solid understanding of federal and Florida state employment laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR investigations.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and data analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work model.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification.
- Experience in the technology or consulting industry.
