Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests and residents, providing outstanding first impressions.
- Provide comprehensive information on local attractions, dining, transportation, and events.
- Make reservations for restaurants, tours, transport, and other services as requested.
- Assist apartment residents with various needs, including package delivery, maintenance coordination, and local resource navigation.
- Handle guest and resident inquiries and requests with professionalism, efficiency, and discretion.
- Manage incoming mail and packages for both hotel guests and apartment residents, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain a comprehensive and updated knowledge base of local services, amenities, and cultural events.
- Coordinate special requests, such as floral arrangements, personalized gifts, or specific amenity bookings.
- Anticipate guest and resident needs and offer proactive assistance to enhance their experience.
- Resolve guest and resident issues and complaints promptly and effectively, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk/concierge area at all times.
Required Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English and French; proficiency in Lingala or Swahili is a strong advantage.
- Profound knowledge of Kisangani and its surrounding areas, including local attractions, services, and culture.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Customer-centric approach with a positive, empathetic, and helpful attitude.
- Proficiency in hospitality management software (PMS) or ability to quickly learn new systems.
