M.D. Marine Supply is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Shipper to join our growing logistics team in Delmar, DE. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing shipping processes, and contributing to our reputation for reliable and prompt service. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare marine products for shipment according to customer orders and company standards.
  • Verify product quantities, quality, and condition against shipping documents to prevent discrepancies.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred, training provided).
  • Load and unload delivery trucks and manage incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning equipment for inventory tracking and shipment processing.
  • Ensure all packages are correctly labeled, documented, and ready for carrier pickup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the shipping area.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse team members, inventory control, and customer service departments.
  • Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits, contributing to overall inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, fostering a secure work environment.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics role.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including data entry and email.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly.
  • Reliable transportation to our Delmar, DE facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift certification or experience operating similar warehouse machinery.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures and carrier requirements (e.g., UPS, FedEx, LTL).
  • Prior experience in the marine, automotive, or industrial supply industries.
