Job Description
We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Builder to join our dynamic construction team in Horfield, Bristol. This full-time, on-site role requires a skilled individual capable of performing a wide range of construction tasks, from foundational work to general site labour and finishing. Key Responsibilities
- Execute general construction tasks, including site preparation, excavation, foundation work, and structural framing.
- Perform bricklaying, blocklaying, and masonry work to required specifications and quality standards.
- Assist with the installation of various building components, such as windows, doors, roofing, and flooring.
- Operate a range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and transport materials on site, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including clearing debris and disposing of waste.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific safety plans.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Collaborate effectively with site managers, foremen, and other tradespeople.
- Identify and report any potential hazards or issues on the construction site.
- Undertake general labouring duties as required to support the project team.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in general building and construction, including a variety of trades.
