As a Quality Control Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity of our beloved products. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established standards and procedures.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Accurately record and document all test results, observations, and data in laboratory notebooks and quality management systems.
  • Monitor production processes for adherence to quality control points and specifications, reporting any deviations promptly.
  • Investigate non-conformance issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in sensory evaluation panels to ensure product consistency and quality attributes.
  • Contribute to the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with production, research & development, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Assist in internal and external quality audits and inspections.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory analytical techniques and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 and HACCP.
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-graduate qualification in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
  • Certification in food safety or quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated experience in a beverage or food manufacturing environment.
