Job Description
Are you a highly vigilant and detail-oriented individual looking to make an immediate impact in a critical security role? Mitie Security is seeking a dedicated Security Monitoring Aide to join our dynamic team in London. This is an immediate hire opportunity for a proactive professional ready to contribute to the safety and security of our clients’ premises.
As a Security Monitoring Aide, you will be the eyes and ears of our security operations, playing a crucial role in preventing incidents and ensuring rapid response. Your primary responsibility will involve diligently monitoring advanced CCTV systems, alarm panels, and other security technologies from a dedicated control room. This isn’t just about watching screens; it’s about anticipating, identifying, and addressing potential threats before they escalate. You will be responsible for detecting suspicious activities, unauthorized access, and any breaches of security protocols across various sites within the Byron area of London.
Beyond passive observation, you will be an active participant in incident management. This includes accurately documenting all observations, preparing detailed reports, and effectively communicating critical information to on-site security teams, management, and, when necessary, emergency services. Your ability to remain calm under pressure, make swift and informed decisions, and follow established protocols will be paramount. You will also assist with remote access control, ensuring only authorised personnel enter secure areas, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our security infrastructure.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art security technology within a supportive and professional environment. We are looking for someone who takes immense pride in their work, possesses excellent observational skills, and is committed to upholding the highest standards of security.
