Job Description
This is a pivotal role within Sparkle Cleaners of Delaware, critical to upholding our renowned standards of service excellence and ensuring seamless operational efficiency across our varied client sites. As a Cleaning Supervisor for Facility Services, you will operate as a frontline leader, guiding and inspiring our cleaning teams as they deliver top-tier services within various commercial and residential facilities throughout Townsend Village, Middletown, and neighboring communities. Your core responsibility will be to meticulously oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring every task is executed with precision, efficiency, and to the highest possible quality standards that our clients expect and deserve. You will serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and feedback with professionalism and promptness. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate cleaning teams to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple client sites in the Middletown area.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards and client specifications are met.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison for clients, addressing feedback and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock and proper maintenance.
- Enforce all company policies, safety procedures, and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform hands-on cleaning duties as needed to support the team or meet tight deadlines.
- Complete and submit accurate daily/weekly reports on team productivity, attendance, and operational incidents.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative cleaning techniques.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment through effective communication and recognition.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in commercial or residential cleaning.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team lead role within the cleaning industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and professional cleaning equipment operation.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Relevant certification in cleaning techniques, sanitation, or workplace safety.
- Experience with various facility types (e.g., corporate offices, medical facilities, retail spaces).
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is considered a significant asset.
