Are you an experienced and meticulous Weaving Machine Operator looking for a challenging role within a growing industrial setup? Supersecrets Limited is seeking a dedicated Weaving Machine Operator to join our thread production team in Rumuokwurusi Market, Port Harcourt. In this vital full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for the efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of our industrial weaving machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality threads that meet our stringent standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of textile machinery, and a commitment to safety and productivity within a fast-paced industrial shift environment. You will be expected to operate multi-head weaving machines, ensuring optimal tension, correct yarn feeding, and consistent output. Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues, adjusting machine settings, and performing routine cleaning and lubrication will be part of your daily activities.
As a Weaving Machine Operator, you will play a crucial part in our production line, contributing directly to the output and quality of our materials. You will be expected to prepare machines for operation, load raw materials such as various types of yarn, set up complex weaving patterns according to product specifications, and continuously monitor the production process to identify and rectify any faults or irregularities promptly. This includes observing thread breaks, yarn tangles, and other operational anomalies that could impact product quality or machine efficiency. You will also be responsible for ensuring the finished threads meet all quality control parameters, conducting regular checks and documenting production data. Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial weaving machines to produce high-quality threads according to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance continuously, identify and resolve operational issues such as thread breaks or yarn tangles.
- Perform routine machine setup, including loading raw materials, adjusting tension, and programming patterns.
- Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Carry out minor troubleshooting, maintenance, and cleaning of weaving machinery.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any defects or significant machine issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and efficient workflow.
