Your day-to-day responsibilities will include receiving, unpacking, and accurately stocking merchandise on shelves, ensuring proper product rotation to maintain freshness, and proactively identifying and addressing out-of-stock items. You will also be responsible for maintaining clean and safe aisles, handling products with care, and assisting customers with inquiries as needed. While no prior experience is necessary, a strong work ethic, a commitment to reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting are essential. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and unpack merchandise from delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy against invoices.
  • Efficiently stock shelves, displays, and storage areas with grocery products, ensuring proper rotation.
  • Maintain organized and clean aisles, removing empty boxes and packaging materials.
  • Monitor product expiry dates and rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Assist customers with locating products and provide friendly, helpful service when needed.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
  • Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stocking and organization.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers.
