Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and unpack merchandise from delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy against invoices.
- Efficiently stock shelves, displays, and storage areas with grocery products, ensuring proper rotation.
- Maintain organized and clean aisles, removing empty boxes and packaging materials.
- Monitor product expiry dates and rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide friendly, helpful service when needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stocking and organization.
- Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers.
