Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and accurately document discrepancies.
- Efficiently and accurately pick customer orders from stock, ensuring product integrity and quantity.
- Package items securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials and methods.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and containers using manual and mechanical equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory to maintain accurate stock records.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and reach trucks, after proper certification and training (if applicable).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and report any damaged products, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for counting, adding, and subtracting inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience (6 months+) in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution setting.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (certification preferred but not required for entry).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
