Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Officer to join our dynamic team for an immediate start. This pivotal role will be instrumental in managing and enhancing Orascom Development Egypt’s public image, fostering positive relationships with media and key stakeholders, and effectively communicating our brand story across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong understanding of media landscapes, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in PR strategy execution. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive PR campaigns, managing media inquiries, crafting compelling press releases and communications materials, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels. This role requires an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional organizational skills, and maintain a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns aligned with company objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with local, national, and international media outlets, journalists, and key industry influencers.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute engaging press releases, media kits, newsletters, articles, and other compelling communication materials.
  • Coordinate and manage all media inquiries, interview requests, press conferences, and media briefings.
  • Monitor media coverage, analyze trends, track PR campaign effectiveness, and prepare detailed reports for management.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate potential reputational risks through effective crisis communication strategies.
  • Organize and manage corporate events, press tours, product launches, community engagement initiatives, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with marketing, digital, and content teams to ensure integrated and consistent communication strategies across all platforms.
  • Develop compelling content for various platforms, including social media, corporate websites, and internal communications.
  • Support senior management in preparing speeches, presentations, talking points, and public appearances.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for thought leadership and executive profiling within relevant industries.
  • Ensure all public communications strictly adhere to brand guidelines, corporate messaging, and legal requirements.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Public Relations Officer or in a similar communications role, preferably within real estate, hospitality, or a related industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and evaluate successful PR campaigns.
  • Strong media relations background with an established network of media contacts.
  • Proficiency in drafting compelling press releases, articles, speeches, and other communications content.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in media monitoring and analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience with crisis communication and reputation management.
  • In-depth familiarity with the Egyptian real estate and tourism market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German, French) is a significant advantage.
  • Proven experience in managing social media for corporate branding and community engagement.
