Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for television, digital, and social media platforms, including news packages, interviews, documentaries, commercials, and promotional videos.
- Operate professional video cameras, lighting equipment, audio recording devices, and other production tools efficiently and effectively.
- Lead or assist with pre-production activities, including script development, storyboarding, location scouting, and talent coordination.
- Perform comprehensive video editing, including color grading, audio mixing, graphic integration, and motion graphics, using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate closely with producers, journalists, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure video content aligns with project goals and brand guidelines.
- Manage and organize video footage and assets, ensuring proper archiving and accessibility.
- Stay updated on the latest video production techniques, equipment, and editing software to continuously enhance output quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and software during production and post-production.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining high standards under pressure.
- Contribute creative ideas and innovative approaches to visual storytelling.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional video cameras and equipment (DSLR, Mirrorless, Cinema Cameras)
- Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques for various shooting environments (studio, on-location)
- Proficiency in audio recording and mixing for video production
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects (e.g., Adobe After Effects)
- Demonstrated ability in visual storytelling and narrative development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license (for potential location shoots)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Television Production, Media Studies, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Videographer or Video Editor in a media, broadcasting, or advertising environment
- Portfolio or showreel showcasing a diverse range of video production and editing work
- Experience with live streaming setups and production
- Knowledge of journalistic principles and ethical guidelines in media production
