Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a detailed understanding of daily specials and restaurant offerings.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our POS system, and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Anticipate and respond to guests' needs throughout their dining experience, providing proactive service and addressing any concerns professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area, including table settings, condiment stations, and overall restaurant cleanliness.
  • Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit transactions, and reconcile sales at the end of shifts.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as state and local liquor laws.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Waiter/Server in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and remain calm under pressure during busy periods.
  • Proficiency in using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine pairings and cocktail ingredients.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with local culinary trends and craft beverage scene.
  • Experience with fine dining service or high-volume casual dining.
  • Certifications in food safety or responsible alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe).
