Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a detailed understanding of daily specials and restaurant offerings.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our POS system, and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality standards are consistently met.
- Anticipate and respond to guests' needs throughout their dining experience, providing proactive service and addressing any concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area, including table settings, condiment stations, and overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit transactions, and reconcile sales at the end of shifts.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as state and local liquor laws.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Server in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and remain calm under pressure during busy periods.
- Proficiency in using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine pairings and cocktail ingredients.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
