As a Delivery Parcel Handler, you will be the backbone of our operations, playing a crucial role in ensuring that packages are processed efficiently and accurately, ready for timely delivery. Your day will be dynamic and engaging, involving a variety of tasks from receiving incoming shipments to preparing outgoing parcels. You’ll become adept at scanning, sorting, and organizing packages of various sizes and weights, all while adhering to strict safety protocols. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision, as you’ll be responsible for verifying package information and ensuring that every item is routed correctly.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and sort incoming packages and shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Scan and log parcel information into the company's tracking system.
- Organize packages by destination, delivery route, or other categories as required.
- Safely load packages onto delivery vehicles, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement.
- Unload packages from vehicles upon their return to the facility.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks safely (training provided).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physically active role is a plus, but not required.
- A valid G driver's license with a clean driving record (beneficial for future growth opportunities).
