Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research, including competitive analysis, industry trend analysis, customer segmentation studies, and user behaviour analysis.
  • Define and implement appropriate research methodologies (surveys, interviews, focus groups, ethnographic studies, secondary research) to gather relevant market data.
  • Analyse complex data sets using statistical techniques and generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop detailed business cases, feasibility studies, and strategic plans based on market findings and business objectives.
  • Translate business requirements and market insights into clear, documented specifications for product, design, and development teams.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure strategic alignment and successful implementation of initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and reports to internal stakeholders and clients, effectively communicating findings, insights, and recommendations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and digital campaigns, recommending adjustments as needed to optimise performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities, potential threats, and areas for innovation through continuous market surveillance.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and shifts in the competitive landscape and consumer behaviour.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Business Analyst with a strong emphasis on market research and strategy development.
  • Demonstrable expertise in various market research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) and data collection techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and draw insightful conclusions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, SQL) and experience with data visualization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Experience in creating detailed reports, business cases, strategic plans, and compelling presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, product development lifecycles, and core business strategy principles.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with advanced analytics or business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics).
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Market Research (e.g., MRS).
  • Experience working within a digital agency or consulting environment, serving diverse clients.
  • Knowledge of specific industry sectors relevant to Mighty's client base (e.g., e-commerce, SaaS, tech, healthcare, finance).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
