Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement plans for various categories of goods and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers, building strong, long-term relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Manage ongoing supplier performance, conducting regular reviews and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and commodity price fluctuations to inform procurement decisions.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nestlé’s global procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and local regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (e.g., Production, Finance, Quality Assurance, R&D) to understand needs and ensure alignment.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements across the procurement cycle.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and discrepancies promptly and effectively.
