Radio Tele Evangélique Bon Berger (RTEBB) is seeking a dedicated Stage Manager – Show Coordination to join our vibrant team in Gemena. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all technical and logistical aspects of live broadcasts, stage productions, and special events.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with directors, producers, technical crews (sound, lighting, camera), and on-air talent.
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules, cue sheets, and run-of-shows, ensuring all elements are timely and accurate.
- Conduct and supervise rehearsals, providing clear direction and ensuring all participants understand their roles and cues.
- Monitor live shows and broadcasts, making real-time adjustments and problem-solving to address any unforeseen issues.
- Ensure all stage props, equipment, and technical setups are prepared, tested, and maintained according to production requirements.
- Manage the flow of talent and guests on and off stage/set, ensuring their comfort and readiness.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment on set and backstage.
- Provide post-production feedback and reports to improve future show coordination processes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in stage management or show coordination, preferably within broadcast, theatre, or live event settings.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with acute attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, capable of motivating and directing diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in French and Lingala (both written and spoken).
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in managing schedules, cue sheets, and production documentation.
- Basic technical understanding of audio, video, and lighting equipment used in live productions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Media Production, Communications, Theatre Arts, or a related field.
- Experience working in community media or non-profit organizations.
- Familiarity with local cultural events and community dynamics in Gemena and Sud-Ubangi Province.
- Fluency in other local languages spoken in Sud-Ubangi Province.
