Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused On-site Store Cashier to join our team for a daily shift at our Downtown Aurora location. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring proper change and transaction security.
- Greet customers warmly, provide courteous and prompt service, and answer product or store-related questions.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized checkout area, including shelves and displays near the register.
- Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining store cleanliness as needed.
- Promote Walgreens loyalty programs and special offers to customers.
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping environment.
- Perform daily opening and closing procedures for the register and front-end area.
