Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces across the leisure centre.
  • Sanitise and disinfect all high-touch surfaces, changing rooms, showers, and toilet facilities to maintain excellent hygiene standards.
  • Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with waste management procedures.
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and COSHH guidelines regarding the use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are completed within the allocated timeframes during afternoon shifts.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour while interacting with staff and leisure centre users.
