Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces across the leisure centre.
- Sanitise and disinfect all high-touch surfaces, changing rooms, showers, and toilet facilities to maintain excellent hygiene standards.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with waste management procedures.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and COSHH guidelines regarding the use of cleaning chemicals.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed within the allocated timeframes during afternoon shifts.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour while interacting with staff and leisure centre users.
