Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in all aspects of the Graduate Trainee Program, including structured learning modules, workshops, and project assignments.
  • Rotate through various departments and business units to gain comprehensive understanding of Lafarge Africa’s operations and strategic objectives.
  • Support assigned teams in daily operational tasks, project execution, and data analysis.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different functions and levels of the organization.
  • Prepare and present reports on progress, findings, and recommendations for assigned projects.
  • Seek and respond to feedback constructively to enhance personal and professional development.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum Second Class Upper) or HND (minimum Upper Credit) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial), Sciences, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program or exemption.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications or participation in extracurricular activities/leadership roles.
  • Basic understanding of the building materials or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with data analysis tools or software.
