Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior management in conducting comprehensive market research and competitive analysis for the Swiss market.
  • Support the development and implementation of country-specific business strategies and action plans.
  • Shadow senior managers in client meetings, negotiations, and stakeholder engagements to learn effective relationship management.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance analysis for various business units.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional internal departments (sales, marketing, operations, finance) to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards on market performance, business trends, and project progress.
  • Participate actively in special projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, expanding market penetration, or developing new business opportunities.
  • Learn and strictly adhere to ABB's global standards, policies, ethical guidelines, and all relevant local regulations.
  • Build and maintain initial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, fostering a network crucial for future growth.
  • Identify and explore potential growth areas for ABB within the Swiss market, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude for data interpretation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in at least one official Swiss national language (German, French, or Italian).
  • Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse, team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
