Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repair procedures.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, tyre rotations, and bulb replacements.
- Maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and organisation of the workshop, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the management of parts inventory, including receiving deliveries, checking items against orders, and storing them efficiently.
- Prepare vehicles for customer collection, including final checks and ensuring they are presentable.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines and workshop procedures at all times.
- Operate workshop equipment and tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Assist with moving and positioning vehicles within the workshop and forecourt as required.
- Learn and develop technical skills by observing and actively participating in various workshop tasks.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in vehicles and how they operate.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and meticulously.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Basic understanding of health and safety protocols in a workshop environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- A full, clean UK driving license.
- Familiarity with various vehicle makes and models.
- Basic knowledge of diagnostic tools and their application.
